Ep 13: An Operator's View on Safety and Culture

The 2022 NTI NTARC report is built on almost 20 years of major accident research to map trends in the transport industry. Findings over the years indicate significant improvements in safety, but some key challenges remain.

In this episode of the Spotlight Podcast, we are joined by NTI’s Transport Research Manager, Adam Gibson, and Director of Russell Transport, Julie Russell. 

We get the operators perspective on:

• driver safety;
• what’s being done by operators to improve it; and
• the work still to be done to advocate for improved safety across the industry.
